FIFA World Cup 2026 - Edmonton Bid
As you may know, the city of Edmonton is one of two Canadian cities working on its host city bid for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be played in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
At this moment in time, it is important that the soccer community in Alberta supports this cause as strongly as possible in a timely manner, as host cities will start to be announced in the next month. With that in mind, we ask you to complete the Template Letter, or edit with the Key Messages, as you see fit and circulate it to as many people as possible over the next couple of weeks. Please circulate this letter to businesses and “friends of soccer” as the World Cup will benefit all Albertans.
